Breaking Bad

Did you like chemistry at school? No? Yeah, I wasn't that good at it too. But no worries, this series is amazing, and it's for everyone.

Don't be intimidated by the underwear guy - Walt is a good guy. Actually he's too much of a good guy sometimes. But for you who likes the bad boys, just relax, he gets tougher as the series goes.

The drama tells the story of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher, who has a job far below his knowledge. But as life goes, he discovers he has lung cancer and it's going to die soon. As soon as he receive the news he realizes he's got to get lots of money for his family before he dies. So, not letting his family know, he begins to cook meth (Methamphetamine). But the problem - actually, one of many - is that his brother-in-law works at the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration). And that's just the beginning.

What distinguishes this series from the other ones out there, apart the original plot, is the novelistic style that brings all the time the drama that revolves around Walt's issues. Every scene seems to have deep feelings from one character to another. And don't think it's just a lousy drama, no; it has it's good portion of it's own kind of action, like when those junkies steal their meth.

Anyway, I really think this series is underrated, to say the least. If you like series, or chemistry, or anything at all, give Breaking Bad a chance. It's tense and exciting at the same time.

In the end, I will give it a 9/10. I won't give it a 10 because in my opinion it could have a little more action and deaths and alike, but I know it doesn't because it pictures the reality, which is not that crazy and which is a good aspect of this series.
