The Last Exorcism

Forget about the other exorcism movies; this one is not like those. This "mockumentary" (fictitious facts in documentary format) is a really good first person movie, so to speak. It feels like the story really happened while you're watching it. The movie appeals to paranormal events only by the end of the film, and yet it is tense all the way to the last scene.

I think the best feature of this movie is that it merges you into the plot; you're afraid, yet curious to know what's happening next. And i think that what contributes the most to this "reality scenario" is the way the film starts: like a real documentary showing how is the Reverend Marcus' job. Then the reverends demonstrates how he tricks people into thinking they were really exorcised. It's like the Reverend is trying to discredit all exorcism movies, including this, but ends up in a real exorcism situation.

The only issue about this movie is the end. It totally destroys the movie, in my opinion. It was feeling so realistic, a plot so good, then, at the end, it just goes downhill. Feels so unreal, cliche and stupid. But, oh well, it is, yet, worth watching. Just ignore the end, or live with it.

In the end, I'll give it a 6/10, just because the end blew. Disappointing.

Mount & Blade: Warband

Do you like medeival themed games? Do you like mounted battles? Do you like huge battles? Do you like strategy campaigns?

Then this game is for you.

Set in the Middle Ages, this great game brings no magic or sorcery, just a blade and lots of epic battles. Imagine that you're playing some game from the Total War franchise, but you are actually fighting; you're the captain. This awesome game's campaign lets you fight your way to greatness through the lands of Calradia. Playing the campaign you can actually do anything you want: you can just kill bandits, or you can be a vassal of a king, or you can found your own kingdom, it is up to you.

The battles (that can be played in multiplayer matches too) range from open field battles to sieges. Every battle is on a different scenario. Every kingdom has its own set of troops. Every companion that you can get to follow you has it's own set of skills. The wide variety of option in this game is overwhelming. It's just epic. That's the word for this game.

Actually Mount & Blade: Warband is just an expansion for Mount & Blade, but it's like another game, like Mount & Blade 2.0. It has everything that Mount & Blade has and something more.

To top it off, this game has an easy system for adding mods; and there's lots of it around the internet. Lots of awesome mods to be more accurate. Mods that even change the game completely, like this amazing Star Wars one:

Anyway, I'm gonna give this game a 9/10, just because the graphics could be a tiny bit better so we could enjoy a little more of this masterpiece, but not really an issue here. As you guys can see, I do not really rely so much on graphics.

Here is the link for the Star Wars: Conquest Mod.

David MeShow

Hey guys, I just wanted to show you this folk. He's the best Youtube musician I've seen around.

I found his work very impressive and I just thought it would be nice to give him some support. Here's his first "single", so to speak:

He does very impressive stuff like the one-man-band thing too:

And I ask myself why is this guy barely known while Justin Bieber is the most known artist of these days...

Well, that's it guys. He's very talented and here is his Youtube account.
